Everything Electric NSW returns to Sydney’s Olympic Park this coming Friday, 7th of March! Over 3 massive days, many of the world’s leading brands, manufacturers, and experts will be showcasing some of the best the electric and renewable technology industry has to offer. With the release of their event programme, we thought we’d take a look at a small sample of the incredible and exciting electric vehicles that will be gracing the show floor.
Leapmotor C10

The Leapmotor C10 is a mid-size electric SUV set to enter the Australian market. It features a single rear-mounted electric motor delivering 160kW of power and 320Nm of torque, providing rear-wheel drive dynamics. The vehicle is equipped with a 69.9kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, offering an estimated range of up to 420km on the WLTP cycle. Charging capabilities include DC fast charging up to 84kW, allowing a 30% to 80% charge in approximately 30 minutes, and AC charging at 6.6kW. Notable interior features include a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 14.6-inch high-definition central touchscreen, dual-zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof with an electric sunshade. Safety is enhanced by the LEAP Pilot intelligent driver assistance system, which includes 12 high-precision ADAS sensors and 17 advanced driver assistance functions. The C10 is priced from $45,888 before on-road costs.

Kia EV3

The 2025 Kia EV3 is set to make its debut in Australia in the first quarter of 2025. This compact electric SUV promises a driving range of up to 600km, thanks to its 81.4kWh battery option. The EV3 will feature front-wheel drive with a 150kW/283Nm electric motor, and a dual-motor, all-wheel drive variant is expected to join the lineup later. Pricing for the Kia EV3 in Australia is yet to be officially announced, but it is anticipated to fall between $52,000 and $74,000 AUD, making it competitive with other electric SUVs like the Hyundai Kona Electric and more affordable than the Volvo EX30 and Mini Countryman Electric

Mona M03

The XPeng Mona M03 is an electric liftback sedan designed to offer a balance of performance, technology, and affordability. Internationally, it’s available with single-motor configurations delivering 140kW (190 horsepower) or 160kW (218 horsepower), and a maximum torque of 225Nm or 250Nm, respectively. The vehicle measures 4780mm in length, 1896mm in width, and 1445mm in height, featuring a sleek design with a drag coefficient of 0.194. It offers a range of up to 620 kilometers on a full charge, with energy consumption of 11.5 kWh per 100 kilometers. Fast-charging capabilities allow for an additional 200 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes. The interior is equipped with advanced technology, including a 15.6-inch tilting infotainment interface powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and an advanced sensor suite comprising 2 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 7 cameras, enabling Level 2.5+ autonomous driving features. Pricing in international markets starts at approximately $16,800 USD. In Australia, the Mona M03 is expected to be available by 2026, with left-hand drive versions currently undergoing testing and research.

Deepal S07

The Deepal S07 is a mid-size electric SUV recently introduced to the Australian market. It features a sleek, low-profile design with frameless doors and flush door handles, embodying a modern aesthetic. The S07 is equipped with a 66.8kWh Nickel-Manganese-Cobalt (NMC) battery pack, offering an estimated range of up to 485km on a single charge. Charging capabilities include DC fast charging, enabling a 30% to 80% charge in approximately 35 minutes, and the vehicle supports vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality. Inside, the S07 boasts a tech-forward interior with a 15.6-inch tilting infotainment interface, an augmented reality head-up display, and a 14-speaker Sony sound system. Additional features include synthetic leather upholstery, heated and cooled front seats, dual-zone climate control, gesture control, a powered tailgate, and keyless entry. The S07 is priced from $53,900 plus on-road costs in Australia.

Cadillac Lyriq

The Cadillac Lyriq represents the luxury brand’s foray into the Australian electric vehicle market. This premium electric SUV combines Cadillac’s hallmark design elements with advanced technology. Internationally, the Lyriq boasts an estimated range of approximately 500km on a full charge and features a striking 33-inch curved LED display that integrates both the instrument cluster and infotainment system. The interior emphasises luxury and refinement, aligning with Cadillac’s reputation. Specific details regarding the Lyriq’s Australian release, including localised specifications, available features, and pricing, are yet to be confirmed.
