Faith Technologies Inc. (FTI) has completed a 2.16-MW solar system atop the newly constructed Excellerate building in Olathe, Kansas. Excellerate, FTI’s manufacturing brand, recently launched its first product, the Excellerate eSkid charging system for electric vehicles.
“This project exemplifies our philosophy of putting into practice the renewable energy solutions we develop and build for our clients,” said Cole Morrison, assistant project manager at FTI. “Through our expertise in solar technology, we’re not only reducing our own carbon footprint but also demonstrating the real-world application of these sustainable energy concepts at an industrial scale.”
The project has UL 3741 compliance, which provides a streamlined approach to meeting rapid shutdown requirements. FTI expects to officially commission the array next month.
