Bravo, an affiliate of energy investment firm Bravo Infrastructure Group, has acquired Quest Renewables, a solar carport and canopy manufacturer.
Quest was formed in 2014 to commercialize technology that was developed with the U.S. Department of Energy and the Georgia Tech Research Institute. Quest was further supported by the Georgia Research Alliance and investment from the GRA Venture Fund. Today, Quest is a solar canopy solutions provider with patented carport racking designs serving the commercial market.
“We are thrilled to add Quest Renewables into our renewable energy platform,” said Steve Newby, CEO of Bravo. “Quest is a leader in the solar canopy space whose product enhances efficiency and safety while providing superior aesthetics to our customers parking areas. We believe the solar canopy industry is primed to grow significantly as we maximize the use of existing, and abundant parking areas to contribute to the country’s long term energy transition to cleaner renewable energy.”
Bravo is expanding its renewable energy infrastructure offerings, and Quest is joining an earlier acquired company, Radiance Solar, a distributed generation EPC firm.
“Joining forces with Bravo opens new avenues for growth and innovation,” said Finn Findley, CEO of Quest Renewables. “Quest will now be able to offer the comprehensive suite of services our customers desire, including full design and construction services. We are excited to contribute our specialized knowledge in solar canopies and our industry leading product to Bravo’s diverse infrastructure portfolio.”
