Unirac, a solar racking solutions provider, partnered with contractor Affordable Solar to bring solar energy to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Installation of the $150,000, 43-kW solar panel system on the ReStore Building started Monday, and is expected to help Habitat for Humanity save approximately $11,000 per year.

Affordable Solar previously donated a solar + storage system at-cost to Road Runner Food Bank that saves the organization enough money to serve an extra 160,000 meals annually. In 2020, Unirac led helped donate a solar system to Joy Junction, a homeless shelter, that provides an estimated savings of $4,000 per year giving Joy Junction.
