All Energy Australia, the country’s largest clean energy event, is set to return to Melbourne on 23-24 October 2024. The event promises to be a significant milestone for the clean energy sector, featuring over 450 industry leaders, experts, and government officials.

Two-day event with sessions addressing all facets of the industry

The conference kicks off on Thursday, 23 October, with a crucial discussion on achieving Australia’s renewable energy targets by 2050. Key figures such as renowned economist Ross Garnaut, the Clean Energy Council’s Chief Executive Kane Thornton, and the Hon. Lily D’Ambrosio MP will lead this session.

Highlighted sessions across the two-day event include:

  • Grid Connection and System Strength: Erika Twining from AEMO will discuss challenges slowing down renewable projects from connecting to the grid.
  • The Global Race for Net Zero: Wei Sue of Climateworks Centre and Frank Jotzo from ANU will explore Australia’s global competitiveness in clean energy.
  • Bringing Social Science Expertise into Sustainable Energy Transitions: Experts from ANU, UNSW, and Monash University will offer insights on community engagement in renewable projects.
  • Equitable Community Access: Chris Miller, CEO of SEC Victoria, will explore public ownership in renewable energy.
  • Building Australia’s Manufacturing Prowess: Marilyne Crestias from the Clean Energy Investor Group will discuss opportunities in domestic battery production.
  • Developing an Offshore Wind Industry in Australia: Insights from Jens Orfelt of RWE Renewables and Anh Mai of the Victorian Government will guide discussions on offshore wind development.
  • Building a Competitive Hydrogen Sector: Fiona Simon, CEO of the Australian Hydrogen Council, will explore Australia’s hydrogen future.

All Energy Australia returns promising to be bigger than ever

More than 11,500 industry professionals are expected to attend, with over 400 leading exhibitors showcasing innovations driving the industry forward.
