Imperial Star Solar, which expects to begin solar panel production at its new Texas plant before the end of the year, announced it will source domestic aluminum frames from CZT Energy USA, an aluminum fabrication operation in Sealy, Texas.
The two companies inked the partnership at the RE+ tradeshow earlier this month.
CZT said it operates five tracker torque tube lines, 60 stamping lines, three roll-forming lines, two aluminum frame lines and additional assembly lines.
Imperial Star Solar will soon operate a multi-gigawatt solar panel assembly facility in Tomball, Texas. The company intends to use solar cells sourced from Imperial’s manufacturing plant in Cambodia.
