A new solar panel recycling outfit is starting up in Yuma, Arizona. Solar eWaste Solutions has secured a five-acre site and has begun the first phase of development for a facility that should process 200,000 panels annually.
Solar eWaste Solutions is led by Dwight Clark, a U.S. veteran and certified hazardous materials manager with 25 years of experience in e-waste management.
“Our mission is clear: maximize material recovery while lowering costs and providing complete transparency,” Clark said. “Our facility isn’t just a PV panel recycling center; it’s a resource for the solar industry to meet compliance, ESG and sustainability goals efficiently.”
Solar eWaste Solutions plans to recycle all portions of the solar panel and put recycled silicon back into the domestic supply chain.
“I’ve spent years supporting recycling operations and refining processes,” Clark said. “Launching this facility is an opportunity to integrate those learnings into a solution that delivers unmatched value to the solar industry.”
