The Old Hill Farm solar project, developed by Woodfield Renewable Partners, is now complete in Jefferson Valley, New York. The 6.1-MW project is built on steep, uneven terrain and called for limited land disturbance. Woodfield turned to DCE Solar’s Long Span Ground Screw racking system for the difficult project.
Execution was just as critical as design, and DCE Services assisted on the installation. The company’s precision pre-drilling and mechanical installation expertise ensured that the racking system was not only securely placed but also seamlessly integrated into the site’s natural contours.
“The Long Span Rack from DCE is a game-changer for community solar installations. Its robust design, coupled with its ability to cover extensive areas with minimal structural components, made it the perfect solution for our project,” says Tyler Bonini Principal at Woodfield Renewable Partners, LLC. “The system is versatile, durable, and cost-efficient, making it an essential part of our successful project.”
More information on the project can be found in the case study online.
