AIKO has introduced its revolutionary Nebular solar panel to the Australian market, solving one of the biggest hurdles in commercial solar: roof weight limits.
Many older commercial buildings, warehouses and cold stores can’t support traditional panels, which weigh between 20–25kg each. These structures often miss out on solar altogether or face costly reinforcements.
Enter Nebular: weighing just 8.6kg per panel, it’s 60% lighter than standard mono-glass panels and perfect for low-load bearing rooftops.

Unlike earlier lightweight panels, Nebular includes:

- A glass-free design that reduces microcracks and roof strain
- Compatibility with conventional mounting systems—no adhesives or special racking needed
Despite its ultra-light build, it delivers a 440W output and up to 22% efficiency—thanks to AIKO’s proprietary ABC (All Back Contact) technology that eliminates front busbars for better light absorption and energy yields.
