EcoFlow has released its latest home energy storage system, Ocean Pro. The system can pull from multiple energy sources, including solar panels, other high-capacity batteries and even generators, if needed.

Ocean Pro, available in the United States, builds on the company’s PowerOcean series, which has been installed over 17,000 times across Europe.

“Ocean Pro isn’t just backup power, it’s complete energy independence made simple,” said Jenny Zhang, President of North America Residential Energy Business at EcoFlow. “We’re excited to bring a powerful solution like Ocean Pro to the U.S. market and give families a smarter, stronger and more reliable energy system built for the challenges they face today.”

One battery provides 10 kWh and the system is expandable up to 80 kWh. At 24 kW of continuous output, Ocean Pro can switch on within 10 ms. The system has also completed the new UL 9540B testing.

Ocean Pro can participate in EcoFlow’s virtual power plant (VPP) network for additional incentives.
