Ingeteam announced its largest inverter installation in the United States was completed in June at the Parliament Solar project in Texas.
Ingeteam supplied inverters for the 640-MWDC project, located just outside the city of Houston. The project was developed and managed by Parliament Energy.
The project involved 149 INGECON SUN 3Power Series C liquid-cooled central PV inverters, integrated into 80 UL-certified transformer stations, delivered as a turnkey solution ready to install.
The scope of supply also included the commissioning work of the plant, carried out from the company’s production facility in Milwaukee.
“Our experience in the market and the fact that we have a consolidated subsidiary on U.S. soil have been key factors when awarding and executing the project. We hope it will be the first in a long list with this client,” said Nohra Nasr, Ingeteam’s VP and general manager for solar PV & BESS in the U.S.
